Your role entails -
> Articulating complex problems that can be solved with data; own specific modules to ensure successful product integration.
> Raw data analysis – assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing.
> Design & development of advance machine learning techniques to power our suite of products.
> Infer behavioral patterns from massive amount of geo-spatial data; create user segments based on demographics data and movement patterns (look alike modelling).
> Collaborate on key architectural decisions and design considerations.
Your experience and skill set includes -
> Prior experience in a similar role : Senior Data Scientist (~6 yrs) & Data Scientist (~3 yrs).
> Masters in statistics / machine learning / operations research / computational sciences /any other quantitative field. (Exceptional candidates with flair for complex problem solving are welcome!).
> Solid understanding of probability and statistics; good understanding of research design, A/B and test-vs-control statistical testing frameworks.
> Solid understanding of unsupervised and supervised machine learning approaches including clustering and classification techniques.
> Solid understand of how to assess the quality of machine learning models including the ability to diagnose and correct problems.
> Experienced/Advanced programmer in Scala, Python, or similar programming languages.
> Experience working with any one of the data wrangling libraries i.e. spark-sql, pandas, numpy, scipy etc. & machine learning libraries i.e. mllib, scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras etc.
> Basic knowledge of NLP, image processing etc.
> Hands-on experience with AWS.
> Working knowledge of HDFS, linux etc.
Would be great if you have -
> Past experience in a tech start-up.
> Familiarity with the digital media / advertising industry is a big plus.
